A special morning for all you flower lovers and arrangers who are interested in picking up some fresh ideas for sustainable and eco-friendly arrangements in a church setting.
Join us for a morning of gorgeous seasonal flowers in this historic church located in the heart of the village of Lowick, Northumberland. We will greet you with coffee and homemade treats before you settle in to enjoy a full demonstration and discussion centred around creating floral displays in a more sustainable way, whilst championing the use of locally grown and seasonal flowers.
Throughout the morning we will demonstrate designs with a focus on foam free sustainable floristry techniques, the skills we demonstrate you will be able to take away and apply to a variety of arrangements and church settings. There will also be plenty of time to ask questions as we discuss different containers and vases which you can use and highlight different mechanics which can be applied, from wires, to twigs and floral pins frogs.
You will leave full of ideas, inspiration and confidence to go away and create your own seasonal and sustainable arrangements.
This demonstration will be held at St John the Baptist Church, Lowick, TD15 2UD and is part of Flora, a flower festival we are hosting in partnership with the church throughout the weekend.
