As the leaves begin to fall and autumn takes hold, join us for a morning of celebrating a magical time of year. After touring our cutting garden together we will settle into our studio where we will demonstrate arrangements that encapsulate the beauty of autumn and harvest. There will be plenty of dahlias and late annual flowers taking centre stage. You should leave full of inspiration and just maybe with a list of dahlias and flowers you will be wanting to add to your garden!
In the afternoon you will get hands on with autumn flowers from our cutting garden as we guide you through making a bowl arrangement. You will learn the art of kenzan using a floral pin holder and create something wonderfully seasonal that captures the rich tapestry of autumn.
The morning demonstration will include:
A tour of our cutting garden
Demonstrations of floral arrangements with autumn flowers and foliage as the focus
Drinks and homemade sweet treats
Lots of opportunities to ask questions
The afternoon workshop include:
All flowers, materials and use of equipment
Full guidance in a small group setting
Drinks and homemade sweet treats
Your completed arrangement to take away with you
Please Note - You will need to bring your own pack lunch. There will be plenty of drinks and homemade sweet treats available throughout the day.
Further details can be found on the Workshop page.
The day will take place at our studio at Horncliffe Mill Farm, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 2XT.
